Your rental payment will include your base rental amount. Water and sewer are based on usage and will be added onto your ledger. Renters’ insurance (if you have opted in through our preferred vendor) will also be added to your ledger. The resident is responsible for setting up electricity, gas, and internet on their own.
There is a $50 non-refundable application fee per applicant. There is a non-refundable administrative fee of $200 per unit at Tiger Village Apartments. With approved credit, we are currently waiving the security deposit. The fees are due at the time of application.
At Tiger Village Apartments, we require proof of your last 30 days of income. The income requirement is three times the monthly rental amount of your base rent. Through a third-party agency, all applicants receive a criminal background check and credit check.
Yes, renters’ insurance is required before you move in at the property. There are two options for renters’ insurance at Tiger Village Apartments. You can either go through our preferred vendor, Foxen, or the resident can set up renter’s insurance separately through their own vendor. It is typically easier to use our vendor, Foxen, but if you decide to use your own insurance company, please call the leasing office for more information.
At Tiger Village Apartments, we do a criminal background check and credit check on all applicants at the property. We have a pass or fail system through our third-party screening company that links with our property management software. There are times where we will accept conditional approval. If you are a full-time student, we can accept student housing stipends which verifies your student loan information. Please contact the leasing office for more information.
Yes, you must sign a lease agreement with a guarantor if you do not meet the monthly income requirement. However, a guarantor cannot be used for an applicant that does not meet the approved credit requirements.
Once someone applies, expect 3-5 business days on the approval of the rental application.
